shopping and soirees and screenings...oh my!

'tis the season! as the busy christmas week descends upon us, i feel the need to once again itemize my recent and upcoming activities. this way, i tell myself, nothing will slip through the cracks and i will stay on top of my game. (in all honesty, the real motivation for this is the fact that i have too many friends making lists and checking them twice. so i must do the same, in order to keep up with the joneses and pretend that i have just as much craziness in my life as everyone else does!)

last week, the following events took place:

  • mon: attended screening of "crazy heart" (jeff bridges = true rockstar)
  • tues: successfully escorted press to visit the set of "green hornet" (filming on the lot now, starring seth rogen and cameron diaz), attended screening of "sherlock holmes" (robert + jude = jolly good fun)
  • wed: attended screening of "it's complicated" (i heart alec baldwin), attended company party to celebrate international box office success of $2 billion (go, SONY!)
  • thurs: attended company party to celebrate holidays (with 1500 people that i don't know)
  • fri: attended department holiday luncheon and gift exchange (lucked out with cute ceramic canisters for kitchen), finished xmas shopping with the rest of the world
  • sat: had lovely lunch with friend, attended hollywood foreign press holiday party (too bad we had to wait until 10pm for our main course to arrive!)
  • sun: got much-needed mani/pedi, wrapped gifts, finished errands
this week brings:

  • mon: quiet day at office (bliss!), then dinner with my buddy HBO-girl
  • tues: quiet half-day at office (super bliss!), followed by lunch and cookie-baking with super-friend and her kiddies, then pick up newly purchased mirrors at the grove and pray that they live up to expectations, then come home and pack for trip to nocal
  • wed: drive 5 hrs to mom's house (ipod is already updated and ready for road trip)
  • thurs: christmas eve with the family at grandma's house
  • fri: christmas day at mom's house
  • sat, sun, mon: whole lotta nuthin'! weeeeeeee!
i wish you all the warmest holiday wishes (especially those of you in the chilly climates - stay safe and toasty!) and a super happy new year. i truly believe that twenty ten promises good things for everyone...

super happy holidays,
pr girl

  15. Will try again (first entry didn't seem to post).

A little late to the party - but so grateful that you & MW are willing to share a bit of your glamorous hollywood lives (and let us experience vicariously).

Can't wait for Green Hornet - if you revisit their set please say hello to my fave LM (and all around great guy) Mike F.

Looking forward to reading the next adventure.
